3. Proposed publication sequence

This is the true publication gate. Internal cleanup elsewhere should not delay it.
Rule the relationship between the two manuscripts.

Publicly, readers need one intelligible answer: Is the second manuscript a replacement edition, a successor book, or a companion? The current evidence supports succession more naturally than silent replacement because the two works contribute different kinds of knowledge.
Ratify the succession and access notice.

State precisely:
- what current buyers receive;
- whether a second purchase is required;
- whether the existing download URL changes;
- whether the first manuscript remains separately available;
- that the Warning Exchange remains publicly open.

4. Critique of the two announcement ideas

W1

“First comes understanding…”

The sequence is intellectually coherent, and its evidence-status language is responsible. Its central problem is that it reads like an internal work order rather than a public announcement.

“Restore the research report” exposes backstage maintenance.
“Declarative Knowledge” and “Systemic Knowledge” are accurate project terms but too taxonomic for the announcement’s opening burden.
It announces two things that are not currently public-ready: the restored report and the short guide.
“First comes understanding” suggests that public understanding has not yet arrived, although the first manuscript already supplies it.
“It can move information” has an unclear antecedent.

Judgment: Do not use W1 as the slate announcement. Use its substance later as the introduction to a restored evidence-and-understanding page, after that page and the guide actually exist.

W2

“The practice arrives next…”

W2 has the better public center. It names the practical advance, explains the four modes, connects the manuscript to the live Exchange, and addresses existing buyers.

It nevertheless has three material defects:

“Every current buyer … already owns The Warning Exchange” is inaccurate carrier language. The Exchange is publicly available; buyers do not uniquely own it.
“Speak Danger, Not Fear” does not match the public Exchange’s visible language, which currently says “Receive the warning. Keep the verdict” and “The warning moves. The verdict stays with you.”
“Access will move” is opaque. Readers need to know which access changes and what they must do.

A sounder core would be:

The practice arrives next. Current buyers will receive the new edition without a second purchase. It teaches four modes: Listening, Reading, Speaking, and Writing. The Warning Exchange remains open to everyone, so one message at a time can be tested while judgment stays with the person who must decide.

Judgment: W2 is the proper release announcement after ratification, title, succession, and access are settled.

READY WITH NAMED CONDITIONS

The proposed slate is coherent: first manuscript for understanding, Warning Exchange for live trial, second manuscript for practice. It is ready to proceed once Larry ratifies the second manuscript, rules its title and relationship to the first, defines the buyer-access transition, and approves a precise succession notice.

The research-report restoration and short guide are separate conditional publications. Their unfinished state should not block the second manuscript. W2, corrected as named above, is the appropriate announcement carrier.
